“我们真的赔不起”……快递员不慎弄丢价值65万元的黄金，几天后才发现并报警

价值65万元、重达400余克、丢失多天的黄金，民警不到1小时就找到了！据媒体9月7日报道，这是发生在吉林省长春市公安局朝阳区分局前进派出所的一件事。

Police in Changchun, Jilin province, have recovered a lost package containing gold jewelry worth 650,000 yuan after it had been missing for days, according to a media report on Monday.

事情还要从8月25日说起，当时，一快递员在搬运快递时，不慎将一个包裹遗落在地上，由于当日派件多、任务重，快递员忙于赶单，对于掉落的包裹毫无察觉。几天后，直到收货方久久等不到货品，主动联系快递公司核实物流，快递公司才惊觉这件价值65万元的400多克黄金遗失了！

The case began on Aug 25, when a courier accidentally dropped the parcel while making deliveries. With a heavy workload, the courier failed to notice that the package was missing. The loss came to light only days later, when the recipient, having waited in vain for the goods, contacted the delivery company to check on the shipment. The company then realized that the valuable package had gone missing.

“这么大一笔损失，如果找不回来，我们真的赔不起……”快递公司负责人在报警时说道。

民警一边安抚报警人情绪，一边了解当时快递员的详细行走路线。可是摆在面前的困难十分棘手：物品遗失多日，早已错过最佳搜寻窗口不说，快递员行走轨迹错综复杂，根本无从追起；再加上快递搬运点在一商场附近，周围人流、车流密集，排查工作阻力重重。

监控室里，民警坐在快递员身旁，一点点引导快递员回忆起整条派件路线，拼凑出现场零散线索；另一边则联系商场管理方，协助调取周边公共监控，对着画面一帧一帧仔细查看。

Officers from the Qianjin police station of the Changchun Public Security Bureau's Chaoyang district branch worked to calm the caller while guiding the courier through their entire delivery route on Aug 25 to piece together what had happened. Besides talking with those involved, the officers also contacted the management of a mall on the courier's route to obtain nearby surveillance footage and reviewed it frame by frame.

很快，事情全貌浮出水面。原来该快递员在派件途中，包裹意外掉落在路面，本人没有发现便匆匆离开，后续环卫工人在日常清扫作业时，又将包裹扫进墙体缝隙，导致包裹被牢牢遮挡，外界很难发现。

随后，民警赶赴现场，对照监控锁定位置仔细搜寻，果然在墙缝之中，找到了完好无损的400余克黄金饰品。

The full picture soon emerged: The package had fallen onto the road during the delivery run, and the courier had left without noticing. Later, a street cleaner swept it into a gap in a wall during routine cleaning, leaving it concealed and difficult to spot.

Officers then went to the scene, used the surveillance footage to pinpoint the location and conducted a careful search. They eventually found the package intact inside a wall crevice.
